Pi Network Enhances Accessibility with New Fiat On-Ramp Feature in Wallet

Pi Network has introduced a 'Buy' feature in its wallet, allowing users to purchase its native cryptocurrency directly with fiat currencies. This integration with payment processors Banxa and Onramper supports transactions via credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods such as Google Pay.

This update simplifies the acquisition process for new users by eliminating the need for third-party exchanges. Currently available to select wallet holders, this feature is part of Pi Network's strategy to accelerate mass adoption of its digital currency.

In addition, the project has launched Node v0.5.3, which includes enhancements to node setup and blockchain explorer integration. These technical upgrades support the new fiat gateway as PI Network continues to expand its ecosystem.
